Description

Signé par le designer norvégien Andreas Bergsaker et édité par HAY, le tabouret de bar Chisel 35 décline dans une version haute le vocabulaire formel du fauteuil du même nom. Son appellation, qui signifie « burin » en anglais, rend hommage à cet outil de menuiserie traditionnel dont les arêtes biseautées se retrouvent dans le dessin même du piètement, aux pieds inclinés et taillés à angle vif. Pensé pour traverser le temps, Chisel 35 est né d'une volonté simple : dessiner une assise en bois massif à la silhouette affirmée, à la fois contemporaine et intemporelle. L'assise circulaire, épurée et sans artifice, laisse toute la place à l'expression du piètement, dont les lignes organiques prolongent visuellement le geste de la lame. Réalisé en bois massif teinté dans une couleur affirmée, la structure joue sur la richesse du veinage tout en lui offrant une teinte singulière, entre rigueur artisanale et sobriété du dessin. Ce jeu de matière, à la fois franc et chaleureux, confère au tabouret une présence sculpturale qui s'impose sans jamais s'imposer. Chisel 35 trouve naturellement sa place aussi bien en usage résidentiel que dans un cadre professionnel, du comptoir de cuisine au bar d'un espace commercial.
