Description
The In situ sofa was designed by Anderssen & Voll with the aim of creating a majestic modular sofa that can be adapted to suit personal tastes and the space available, while retaining great comfort and a soft seat. Published by Muuto, it is made up of modular elements whose technical details are concealed in the steel frame. The name In Situ refers to sculptures designed specifically for a location and created in the place where they will be exhibited. Like these sculptures, the In Situ sofa allows the user to create their own configuration to match the aesthetic and functional needs of their space, whether in a home, reception or workspace. Through its great comfort, sculptural lines and subtle details, the In Situ modular sofa becomes the centrepiece of any space, while complementing the environment with its modern style.

ANDERSSEN & VOLL
Founded in 2009 by Torbjørn Anderssen and Espen Voll, Anderssen & Voll is a Norwegian design studio based in Oslo. The duo, who were previously partners in the Norway Says group, work in a variety of design fields but concentrate on domestic objects. They have been named Norwegian and Scandinavian Designer of the Year and have received international awards for their work with furniture, lighting and home accessories. In their view, a good product builds on and extends tradition while simultaneously breaking with the rules of that tradition. Their iconic creations include the Outline seating series, the Oslo lounge chair, the Elephant table and the unique Ildhane candlestick. Their many collaborations with famous publishers such as Lapalma, Muuto, Hay and AndTraditon have contributed to their reputation.
